Peanut Butter Cookies!

When it is COLD but sunny, I get HUNGRY!

Peanut butter cookies make a delightful snack. They are easy to make!

In a bowl, take 4 tablespoons melted plain butter.

Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.

Pour 5 tablespoon of granulated sugar.

Whisk until smooth (1-2 minutes).

Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Add 2 tablespoon of crunchy style peanut butter. Mix well.

Add 1/4th cup all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt and 1/4th tablespoon baking soda and baking powder.

Add 2 tablespoon of regular milk.

Add more if needed while mixing these ingredients.

Whisk into a smooth dough.

Heat the oven to 350-375 F.

On a greased baking tray put small chunks of the dough. One may line the baking tray with parchment paper instead of greasing.

Allow enough space between the dough balls for expansion.

Cook for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

At this point, remove from the oven and allow cooling.

Once adequately cooled, they are ready to be enjoyed!

TIPS:

They taste superb with a glass of cold milk and with the company of kids!

Sprinkle a small amount of granulated brown sugar before baking for that extra sweet twist on the bite!
